Consignment times:
Merchandise is accepted by appointment only, Monday through Friday during the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. Maximum consignment is 20 items per appointment. Consignments can also be sent by UPS or the postal service. Unacceptable items recieved this way will be donated to charity or returned at consignor's expense. Please contact us before shipping.

Acceptable consignments:
The Turnabout Shoppe specializes in high end, designer label women's clothing and accessories. This includes special occasion attire except bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. All clothing must be in season, of current styling, cleaned, pressed and on hangers. Any items more than two seasons old may not be accepted. Accessories such as belts, hats, scarves, costume jewelry, and shoes are accepted only if they have never been worn or only very slightly worn. Any item requiring dry cleaning will be cleaned at the consignor's expense.

Unacceptable consignments:
Uncleaned, unpressed, or stained clothing with missing buttons, frayed linings, rips, tears, moth holes and items of outdated styles will not be accepted. We do not accept maternity clothes, men's, junior, or children's clothes.

Sales Periods:
Articles accepted will be placed on sale during the selling season or extended at the sole discretion of The TurnabouT Shoppe. Season end dates: Fall/Winter -- 2nd Saturday in February, Spring/Summer -- 2nd Saturday in August. Consignors must notify us at least one week prior to season end dates to reclaim seasonal items. After notification, articles must be picked up prior to season end dates or they will promptly be donated to charity, put into non-accessible storage for re-evaluation at some future time, or disposed of at the sole discretion of The TurnabouT Shoppe. RESPONSIBILITY FOR RECLAIMING UNSOLD ITEMS IS THAT OF THE CONSIGNOR. WE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE TO ARRANGE YOUR RECLAIM.

Donations:
Residual clothing is usually donated to selected charities. The disposition of all unclaimed items is the sole responsibility of the Turnabout Shoppe. Tax receipts are available upon request.

Pricing:
The Turnabout Shoppe reserves the right to determine prices and markdowns at any time without consulting the consignor.

Payment Policy:
The Turnabout Shoppe receives as commission 50% of the final net selling price excluding taxes, etc. Payments to consignors is made monthly on those articles sold in the prior month. No checks are issued for less than $20. A per check charge of $1.00 for postage and handling is deducted from consignor’s payments.

Responsibility for Merchandise:
The Turnabout Shoppe makes their best effort to merchandise, sell and care for all consignments. However, all consignments are left at the owner's risk. The Turnabout Shoppe is not responsible for loss by theft, fire negligent handling or any other cause.
